Bout of Books Challenge: Bookish rainbow

Here’s your challenge: Create a stack of book spines from your bookshelf, or post pictures of the covers, that go in rainbow order.

So, you start with white on the bottom, then redorangeyellowgreenblueindigo (purple), violet (like a darker purple), and then black! The spine should have at least a majority be the color you are looking for, but just use your best judgement to get the rainbow-like flow.

The books I used to build this were:

Black: Panic By Lauren Oliver

Violet: Fragile Eternity by Melissa Marr

Indigo: Bite Club by Rachel Caine Blue: Never Eighteen by Megan Bostic (Read)
Green: Cross my heart and hope to spy by Ally Carter (read)
 YellowDisplacement by Thalia Chaltas

Orange: Lover Revealed by Jr Ward

Red: Girl of Nightmares by Kendare Blake (read)

White: The Program by Suzanne Young (read)

I Had a lot of fun with this one although finding orange and trying to distinguish violet and indigo took a minute. lol

Bookaholics Anonymous

Edited: 12/8/13

Bookaholics Anonymous Online was created back in 2010 out of wanting to find people who enjoyed reading and books as much as I did. Little did I know I would be joining a community that would grow into something amazing (when it doesn’t have the little dramas that are impossible to avoid.) I have met some awesome authors along the way, and made friendships with some really sweet people. I’ve definitely learned more about the bookish world then I knew 3 years ago. I probably couldn’t have told you any names of publishers 3 years ago, but now I can spout off quite a few, all of whom are awesome in their own ways. Egmont, HarperTeen, Simon & Schuster, Penguin, Scholastic, and Spencer Hill.

In B.A.Os beginning stages, I would work on it daily, posts would be up, reviews would be done every few days, stuff was happening. Now it seems like it’s just sitting there, and in all truth it kind of is because the past years I’ve had a fiance and wedding to look forward to.  Now that I’m married I would like to think I can try to get back to reading and reviewing.

Not a new blogger..just a new site on wordpress!

Alright, I figured i had just about every other site connected to me in the book way so why not make a wordpress as well. I still  will mainly use blogger because I’m comfortable with it, but everyonce in a while I’ll pop over to this one. Who knows maybe I’ll add my reviews to this one as well. 🙂

If you find your way here somehow then come and meet me over at my other site at http://www.bookaholicsanonymousonline.com Chat me up on twitter at bookserieslover or find me on goodreads at bookserieslover as well. Want more info! Just ask.
